Jeffrey Gordon is a Director of JJ Gordon Bloodstock Consultants Pty Ltd (a registered Bloodstock Agency), a member of the Victoria Race Club, Moonee Valley Racing Club, Singapore Turf Club and Melbourne Race Club. Jeffrey Gordon is also a member of the "Federation of Bloodstock Agents" as well as "Aushorse" - both establishments adhere to strict laws for trade within the industry. Jeffrey commenced work in the racing industry in 1978 as a Pedigree Consultant for Coles Bloodstock Agency Pty Ltd (later to become Dalgety Bloodstock International Pty Ltd). In 1984 Jeffrey was approached by Tony Cavanagh (AG Cavanagh & Co Pty Ltd) to become the sole Bloodstock Consultant for his firm. Jeffrey accepted a Directorship of this Company, which eventually became one of the most successful Bloodstock Agencies in the Southern Hemisphere. AG Cavanagh & Co Pty Ltd negotiated the sale of some very successful horses: Centaine (a very successful sire in New Zealand) Magic Flute (Doncaster Handicap winner) and Emancipation (Champion racemare). During 1978 to 1984, Jeffrey concentrated on exporting Australian throughbred racehorses, initially to Singapore/Malaysia. Success came early as evidenced in his Race Record of Horses Exported. During this time his Uncle, John Murray a successful International Jockey was riding in Singapore/Malaysia and introduced Jeffrey to several owners/trainers that to this day are still extremely valued solid clients. In 1989, Jeffrey decided to open his own business now J.J. Gordon Bloodstock Consultants Pty Ltd with wife Debbie. From this point in time he concentrated mainly on the Hong Kong market along with Singapore when a client would request a horse His success in Hong Kong was instant.Company = JJ Gordon Bloodstock Consultants
